We plan the move before we lift anything
For an office move we always come and look at the premises first. We go through how many workstations there are, what needs dismantling, how much archive material is coming along, and how the goods lift and loading entrance work in both buildings.
From that we put together a plan with times, and you will know exactly when the office is out of use.
What we take
- Workstations. Desks, sit-stand desks, chairs and partitions are dismantled and reassembled at the new address.
- IT equipment. Monitors, computers and docking stations are packed separately and labelled per workstation, so everything ends up with the right person.
- Archives. Filing cabinets and folders are moved in order, so the system is intact when you set it up again.
- Meeting rooms and shared areas. Large tables, sofas, fridges and coffee machines.
- Disposal. Furniture you are not taking with you, we haul away and deliver for recycling.

Outside working hours
Most of the office moves we do start on a Friday afternoon and are finished over the weekend. That way everything is in place when the staff arrive on Monday morning, and you do not lose a single working day.
For a larger office we take the move department by department over several evenings, so that part of the business is always running.

How to prepare your staff
One box per person
Each employee packs their own desk and labels the box with their name. It saves more time than anything else we can do.
Decide the seating in advance
Have a simple floor plan ready showing who sits where. Then we carry straight in, with no staging in the corridor.
Clear out before, not after
An office accumulates a lot in a few years. Do the disposal before the move – throwing away is cheaper than moving.
Sort out lift and loading bay
Many commercial buildings require the goods lift to be booked in advance. We need to know the time slot before we lock the plan.
Frequently asked questions
Can you move outside working hours?
Yes, and that is how we do most office moves. We usually start on a Friday afternoon and finish over the weekend, so everything is in place when your staff arrive on Monday morning.
How long will the office be out of use?
You will know before we start. After the site visit we draw up a plan with times. For a larger office we take it department by department over several evenings, so part of the business is always running.
Do you handle IT equipment?
Yes. Monitors, computers and docking stations are packed separately and labelled per workstation, so everything ends up with the right person. Disconnecting and reconnecting servers is agreed separately – raise it at the site visit.
Do we get a fixed price?
Yes. For office moves we always come and look at the job first, and quote a fixed price based on that. If we are moving you in the evening or at the weekend, the supplement for that is already in the fixed price – no surprises afterwards. The visit is free and puts you under no obligation.
What happens to furniture we are not taking?
We haul it away and deliver it for recycling. It is worth doing the clear-out before the move itself – throwing things away costs less than moving them.
How does invoicing work?
You are invoiced as agreed, on ordinary payment terms. Our company registration number is 933 809 862.
Is your business moving?
We are happy to come and look at the job and put together a plan with you. It is free and puts you under no obligation.
