All prices include VAT. The hourly rate is fixed – it is the number of hours that depends on the floor, the lift, and how easily the van can get to the door.

A small company with a permanent crew
We started in 2024 and today we are eight people. We have deliberately stayed small enough that whoever answers the phone also knows what your day is going to look like – you are not talking to a call centre.
It is the same people who turn up at your door every time. We use our own employees, not agency help hired per job, and the vans are our own.
How it works
You get in touch
Call or send the form. We ask about the address, the floor, whether there is a lift and roughly how much there is to move.
You get a quote
We recommend a crew size and a number of hours, and tell you what it will cost. Free and without obligation.
We move you
We turn up at the agreed time with the equipment needed, and tell you along the way if anything changes.
You take over
Furniture is put where you want it. If the old place needs cleaning, we do that the same day.
Frequently asked questions
What does it cost to move in Oslo?
We charge by the hour, and the rates are published on this site. Two movers with a van cost 1 375 kr an hour incl. VAT, three movers 1 875 kr. After 17:00 on weekdays and all weekend there is a 30 % supplement. Piano moving starts at 4 500 kr. How many hours it takes depends mostly on the floor, whether there is a lift, and how much there is to move. See the full price list.
How long does a move take?
A two-room flat that is already packed usually takes four to five hours with two movers, including the drive. If there are a lot of stairs and no lift, it goes faster – and usually cheaper – with three movers than with two.
Can I get a fixed price?
Yes, if we come and look at the job first. Then we lock the price, and you know exactly what the move costs no matter how long we take. The visit is free and puts you under no obligation.
Do I have to pack myself?
No. You can pack everything yourself, let us take all of it, or give us just the awkward things – glassware, crockery, books and pictures. We also drop off moving boxes a few days beforehand so you can start at your own pace, and you only pay for the boxes you use.
How quickly can you come?
Around the turn of the month, and especially 1 July and 1 August, the calendar fills up weeks ahead. Otherwise in the month we often have slots at short notice. Call and ask – it costs nothing.
Do you speak English?
Yes. You are welcome to call, write or fill in the form in English, and we will reply in English. Tell us when you book, and we will make sure someone on the crew speaks English on the day as well.
What happens if something gets damaged?
We hold liability insurance, and if something happens you take it up directly with us – we use our own employees, not hired hands, so there is never any doubt about who had their hands on the furniture. Please be aware that liability insurance is a basic cover, not a full insurance of your contents. That is why we always recommend that you have your own moving insurance. Many people are already covered through their home contents insurance – check with your insurer, or take out a moving insurance in addition. If something happens, you take it up directly with us – we use our own employees, not agency temps, so there is never any doubt about who had their hands on the furniture.
Which parts of Oslo do you cover?
All of Oslo and the surrounding area. We move most in the inner city – St. Hanshaugen, Grünerløkka, Frogner, Majorstuen, Sagene, Bislett, Torshov and Nydalen – but we drive across the whole city.
When do I have to pay?
You get an invoice once the job is done. We do not take payment in advance from private customers.
5 % of our profit goes to the Rainforest Foundation. Not a campaign, and nothing you pay extra for – just part of how we run this business.
