Movers at Bislett
Around Bislett the flats are small and people move often. That makes the jobs short – and then it matters that we do not spend half the day getting there.
Short jobs, and we are in the neighbourhood
Bislett lies just below St. Hanshaugen, which is where we belong. That means we get there quickly, and that we can take small jobs without the driving alone eating up the price.
A bedsit or one-room flat is often done in two to three hours with two movers. This is not a job you need to plan three weeks ahead – feel free to ring in the same week.
Student moves in August
With OsloMet and student housing nearby, August is the busiest month in this area. Everyone has to move in during the same week, and both moving companies and rental vans are sold out in the last days before term starts.
If you are moving in for the start of term, book in July. If you are moving out, it is often easier to get a slot – and cheaper, since you can usually pick a weekday in the middle of the month.
Events at the stadium
Bislett stadium hosts several large events a year, and on those days the surrounding streets are partly closed and the parking is gone. That includes the athletics meeting in June.
We check whether anything is on for the date you want to move, and suggest another time if your street falls inside the closures.
