We come and look at the property together with you. There we agree on three things: what is to be kept, what can be given away or sold, and what is to be thrown out.
- What is to be kept is packed carefully and driven wherever you want it – to one of the heirs, into storage or to a basement room.
- Furniture and belongings that can be used again we are glad to deliver to a charity or second-hand shop rather than the recycling centre.
- The rest we sort and haul away, and deliver according to Oslo municipality's waste rules.
- Papers and valuables are always set aside in separate boxes, never in what is thrown out. More tends to turn up than people expect.
We are in no hurry
Some want everything done in one day. Others need to go through it room by room over several weeks. Both are fine, and we arrange the work around what you can manage.
If you are not in Oslo yourselves, we can take the whole job and send photographs along the way of anything we are unsure about, so that nothing is thrown away without you having seen it.
Ready for the handover
If the property is to be sold or handed back to a landlord, we do the move-out cleaning last, so the flat stands ready for the handover. Then all you have to do is hand over the keys.
